apocalyptical | Masquerade Meme [test]

You get the invitation. Maybe it comes in the mail, maybe it's left on your desk at work. Perhaps it's even hand delivered by a footman with a quiet bow and a silent smile. No matter how you got it, you've been invited to a masquerade ball which promises to be so much more than just a typical party.

The moment you dress and touch the invitation, you're whisked away to a gala that goes beyond the realm of imagination. The room is lavishly decorated; gold columns stretch from floor to high, vaulted ceilings while buffet tables piled with delicacies from every world imaginable line the wall. There is plenty of champagne and wine and whatever other substance you would like, all you need do is ask one of the masked men and women clad in livery for your hearts desire.

Should you choose to try and leave the party, you will find yourself dumped right back into the main ballroom, but do feel free to explore the grounds. There is a library, gardens, and balcony to peruse, but do try not to get lost in the hedge maze. There are some nasty beasties in there that are simply starving for attention.
